David J. Rogala

David J. Rogala, age 44, of Brookfield, IL and Fairfax, VA, beloved son of Robert and Susan Rogala, nee Stajenka; dearest brother of Robert, Cara (Anthony) Spalla, Leanne (Edward) Digan, Susan (Steven) Ciangi and the late Alex Rogala; nephew of Vivian Rogala and Charlotte Cox; much loved uncle of Sean, Anthony, Frankie and Sammy. David was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and worked as a paralegal and court reporter for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) in Germany and Virginia. He received the Meritorious Service Medal among many other awards. After leaving the Army, David was a freelance steno and verbatim court reporter in Chicago, Boston and Fairfax with certifications of CCR, CSR, CVR-CM. David was published in NCRA's, NVRA's and Intersteno's print and electronic journals. Visitation Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 W. 31st St. Brookfield, IL 60513.
