Clarice M. Golbeck, nee Erickson, age 82, of Lombard formerly of Wheeling. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Golbeck; dear mother of Susan (Thomas Rudel) Golbeck, Linda (James) Mularski, Katherine (the late Mark) Russell and the late Steven Golbeck; fond grandmother of Daniel Rudel, Alexandra Russell and Matthew Russell; sister of the late Charles Erickson. For 20 years Clarice was a gifted and creative music teacher for children with special needs. She brought music into the lives of many children and their families; she was recognized for her extra-ordinary contributions as a teacher by North Suburban Special Education District and the Illinois State Board of Education in 1993.
