Charles R. Nemecek, age 78, of La Grange Park. Beloved husband of Gail Nemecek, nee Nielsen for 46 years; devoted father of Rebecca (Jason) Hubbard; loving grandpa of Cameron Hubbard; dear brother of Barbara Nemecek Lanting and the late Marion and Charles Nemecek. Chuck is the retired Head Mechanic of the Village of La Grange Park and Lt. of the La Grange Park Fire Department and Ambulance Driver. Charlie loved fishing and collecting fire memorabilia, especially patches and trucks. He was also a big fan of NASCAR.
Visitation Sunday, November 20, 2022 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will be a Fire Department Walk Through at 6 P.M. Sunday Night. Monday, November 21, 2022 Visitation from 10:30 AM to time of Service 11:00 AM at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 W. 31 st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
