Carmen Ritacca, age 71 of La Grange Park. Beloved husband of Blanca Ritacca, nee Reyna; loving father of Venessa (Joe) Tornabene and Santo "Sonny" Ritacca; dear grandfather of Bella and Angie. Carmen is also survived by his sister Fran (Tony) Sofia and a brother as well as many nieces and nephews. Carmen's roots are in Calabria, Italy where he spent his childhood before his family immigrated to America through Ellis Island on their way to Chicago. He had a deep love for his family, vintage cars and Italian music. He also had a flare for cooking and sharing those meals with his loved ones, particularly making his granddaughters' favorite meals.
