Brian Bakalich, age 58, of La Grange Park. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Sandra Bakalich, nee Joyce; devoted father of Alexandra Bakalich and Rachel Bakalich; loving son of Ruth Bakalich, nee Feddern and the late Lawrence Bakalich; dear brother of Bruce Bakalich and Craig Bakalich; son in law of Rozanne Blair and the late Warren "Bud" Joyce, Jr.; brother in law of Jeannine (Jacques) Fleurant, Jennifer Joyce, Kevin (Jennifer) Joyce, Christopher (Kelly) Joyce and the late Warren Joyce III; uncle of Brendon, Olivia, Collin, Gavin and Jaxon Joyce; friend to many.
Brian lived a life of service, retiring with over 32 years on the Bellwood Police Department.
Visitation Monday, May 10, 2021 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31stStreet, Brookfield.
Current Covid regulations allow for a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed, outside food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to the Bakalich family, please be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.
