Arliss Zink, age 83, of Eastpointe, Michigan, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, Survived by her loving sister Dolores (Donald) Triebull and the late Hortense (Charles) Holm; Aunt of Craig Holm, Randall (Dorothy) Holm, Dawn (Kenny) Anderson, Cynthia (Victor) Glaser, Allen (Jan) Triebull, Donna (David) Landa, Jeffrey Triebull and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday, August 1, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Monday 11 A.M. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. Arliss taught school in Elgin, Illinois and Peace Lutheran School and Fraser Elementary in Michigan, where she was also an elementary school counselor, retiring in 1991 after 41 years. She was an active member of the International Student Ministries (Bible Study at WSU), Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Alpha Delta Kappa International (Alpha Zeta Chapter), Beta Sigma Phi Fellowship, Women of Wayne Alumni Association at Wayne State University, AAUW and Concordia University Chicago.
