Alice Paul Gaertner, age 76 of Naples, FL, formerly of LaGrange, IL. She was born in Alpha, Iowa to Clayton and Florence Paul and passed away on November 3, 2021. Alice was the beloved partner and companion of Robert Petrik; fond mother of Jennifer Gaertner; dear grandmother of Robert Webber; sister of Thomas Paul, Richard Paul, Ferne Cerqua, Douglas Paul, Kaye Byrnes, Liz Greco, Cynthia Delgadillo and the late Ellen Searles; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Alice graduated from Salem-Central High School and Northwestern University. She retired to Naples after working for 35 years for Amoco and BP as a manager in cash and banking. She was a descendant of the Mayflower, past President of the LaGrange Historical Society, a licensed water aerobics instructor, and a member of the Naples Quilters Guild. She loved to quilt!
