Adele Mae Dau, nee Denman, age 92, of Reading, MI, previously of La Grange Park, IL. Beloved wife of the late William Dau; loving mother of Keith (Catherine) Dau of Reading, and Deborah (Michael) Bokios of Florida; dear grandmother of Michelle (Adam) Kleinheinz, Nicholas (Kelly) Bokios, Lisa (John) Bisset, Victoria (Mark) Lewan, Kristin Dau, David Dau and Mathew Dau; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Adele Denman, nee Thomas; and one brother.
Adele graduated from Oak Park High School in Chicago before going on to do secretarial work for California Amforge. Adele was a longtime member of the St. Louise de Marillac Church in La Grange Park, IL. She was a family woman who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Adele also loved to read.
Visitation Tuesday, February 14, 2023, from 4 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a prayer vigil at 7:30 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. MI.
Visitation Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 4 P.M. to time of prayer service at 8 P.M. and Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
