Nolan Joseph Krolicki, age 74 of Chicago. Army Veteran. Beloved brother of Thaddeus D. “Ty”, Jr. (Janice) Krolicki, Merry Dawn (Stanley) Szybowski, Sterling A. Krolicki and the late Roger A. (Irma) Krolicki; dear uncle of Vanessa (John) Davis, James (Lindsey) Szybowski, Lisa Collier, Travis (Nicole) Krolicki, Thaddeus D. Krolicki, III, Chelsea (Gregory) Madaoui and Joshua Krolicki; great uncle of Quinton Beam, Trevor and Alexandria Collier; preceded in death by his parents Thaddeus D. Krolicki and Marie K. Krolicki, nee Kargol; friend to many.
Visitation Thursday, August 25, 2022, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, August 26, 2022, 8:45 to 9:15 AM at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Friday 9:15 AM to St. Francis Xavier Church, La Grange, IL 60525. Mass 10 AM.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.

My condolences to the family. I was very saddened to hear of Nolan’s passing. One of the nicest friends to have a conversation with at our flying field. He will be missed dearly.
I was so sorry to hear that Nolan had passed away. I still remember meeting this unique and great man nearly 25 years ago, at the Checkerboard R/C field. My encounters with him were always pleasant. I could sit at the “bench” at talk to him for hours on end. Going from very humorous cracks, then transitioning to very serious conversation and evening teaching offerings on home repairs from him. His dynamic vibrance and genuine sincerity, is what I’ll miss most about Nolan. Please Rest In Peace and fly gracefully with best up there…
One of the nicest man I had the pleasure of growing up and knowing since my teen days playing softball and touch football with him and his brothers at piotrowski Park and many meals across the street at home run inn
He was one of a kind! Always smiling and making jokes. He will be missed.
Loved him teasing me about the Cubs … He will be missed by Larry & me ;(

Dear Family of Nolan Krolicki,
Nolan left the world a better place because he would always give generously of his time whenever any of his friends needed help. He was genuinely one of the really nice guys.

So sorry about Nolan. He was a dear friend from the Checkerboard Flying Club. I always sought him out at the field and enjoyed kidding with him. He was one of a kind and It won’t be the same without him. I will miss him dearly. Please accept my sincere condolences.
