Please accept our deepest condolences at Mickie’s passing. She was a good wife to my best and lifelong friend D.J. She was also a good mother, friend, and 2nd mom to many children. She is with Donnie watching over all of us.

Mickie helped me so much during my early years at RB. I always looked forward to her visits, often just to chat. It gives me comfort to know she is at Abraham Lincoln cemetery – just south of my Laraway School, where I taught before my career at RBHS. I’ll always remember seeing both of you at mama’s nursing home in Knoxville several summers ago when you made the long trip to Galesburg. What a wonderful surprise and just about as thoughtful as could be. Sending much love to you, Nicole!
