Your mother and grandmother, Lucille, was a very sweet and loving lady. Her lovely smile was always a reflection of Jesus and His love. I enjoyed knowing her through Bible study and LWML, and also seeing her when she attended church services. I know how much you will miss her; but it is a joy to know that she is now in heaven, with Jesus, enjoying a sin-free life for all eternity!

Condolence from Matt & Chris Bauer on July 3rd, 2019 5:29 pm

Aunt Lu (and Uncle Gene) were my Godparents and therefore were always special to me. Aunt Lu was always concerned about everyone else, she even had a card sent to me last week before my medical procedure. Their house/basement was the focal point of many a family gathering from Grandma & Grandpa’s time up to last Sept for dad’s 90th birthday celebration – so many memories.
Sorry that I cannot be there for the funeral, we will have to make a trip back sometime…
Rest in Peace reunited with Uncle Gene!
-Matt

Condolence from Rosa G on July 3rd, 2019 9:19 pm

I am so sorry to learn of Ms Lucille’s passing. There is no greater pain than losing a loved one to death. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died. Empowered by his Father, Jesus restored life to Lazarus. This was a great comfort to the family. (John 11:35, 40-43) In due time, God and Jesus will also restore life to our loved ones. (John 5:28,29) I look forward to the fulfillment of this prophecy. The Bible gives us hope.
