Lois Amelia Brom, nee Kuehlhorn, age 84, of La Grange Park. Beloved wife of the late John Richard Brom; devoted mother of Linda (William) Lahey, Karen (Frederick) Bell and John A. (Susan) Brom; proud grandmother of Dr. Ryan (Michael Labellarte) Lahey, Shannon (Fiance Brian Bak) Lahey, USAF Capt. Zachary F. (Jessica) Bell, Sr., Patrick Lahey, Julie Bell and Claire Brom; loving great grandmother of Zachary F. Bell, Jr. and Rex Robert Bell; sister of Carol (Donald) Roff; sister-in-law of the late Gerald (June) Brom; aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the St. Louise Senior Club and “YaYa” Sisterhood Lifelong Friendship Club. Retired Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Elmhurst School District 205. Visitation Friday, February 10, 2017, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Saturday, February 11, 2017, 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Saturday 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park, Mass 10 A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
