  10. Rivka Van De Graaff condolence:

    Dear Helga,
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet husband and our dear friend. When we heard he was in the hospital we hoped to be able to visit him. If “laughter is the best medicine” I thought that a little visit with James could be a good thing. Those two loved to joke and tease each other. James was so honored to be a pallbearer. He shared your son’s talk with me. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be there too. I wish we could have met you both sooner, but feel privileged to have known you both for as long as we have. I look forward to giving YOU a hug soon when the temple reopens (as opposed to be being the recipient of one of your great hugs).
    love,
    Rivka

  11. Michael Aldas condolence:

    Sister Silski!

Whenever I think of you and your husband, I see you in white and smiling! I don’t think that image can ever be erased! Aren’t we lucky to have the knowledge of the plan of happiness that we can celebrate Brother Silksi’s life at this time? I think so. Keep smiling Sister Silski and know that you are loved from this one young man all the way out in Idaho!

    Love,
    Michael Aldas

  12. Sandy Plumley miller condolence:

I have such fond memories of brother Silski. I just found out he had passed today, April 22, I can always see that wonderful smile on his face. He was always so warm. I loved hearing his laugh. We made him laugh a lot in seminary. I was just talking the other day about my fondest memories of seminary were scripture chasing. He was a wonderful teacher. I was so blessed to have him all 4 years. He was also a great example to me of temple worship, his dear wife too. Now he can home teach my mom and dad in heaven. Lol. Love to you sister Helge and Margie and Andy.
