Karl was my father-in-law. Over the years I, of course, got to know him well. He liked to laugh and was proud of his family. We blended families when Karl married Mary and I have a lot of fond memories of family parties and different events over the years. There were a lot of us and I remember a picture of about 50 people in my sister-in-law Julie’s back yard. All of us will miss Karl and our prayers are with him. I know in my heart that he is with Mary and other loved ones in Heaven and that he is happy. God bless him and keep him.

When Karl walked into heaven Saturday morning, the Lord said, TRULY well done good and faithful servant.

You were a blessing Karl, I know you are singing with the heavenly choir.

Condolence from Bill and Jackie Greenwald on June 15th, 2014 3:07 pm

What a strong and wonderful friend and associate. Too soon gone from our midst, he was sorely missed today at the club hamfest which the club dedicated to Karl WA9CCQ. All present had many pleasant memories with him and his great humor. No doubt; on the Express Elevator, to rejoin his loved ones in Heaven above.

Condolence from Ed Schumacher on June 15th, 2014 3:31 pm

The day I first met Karl I was a grumpy high school freshman because I was having to miss my first radio club meeting for a family photo. I ended up with a friend for life. Karl will continue to be a part of my life and I am blessed for having known him all these years. My prayers for all his family. Thank you Karl, Good Buddy.

Condolence from Cindy and Vern Schultz on June 16th, 2014 7:34 am

Cindy and I shared our hobby with Karl but we actually shared so much more. We shared our Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Karl was our friend and we shall never forget him. He is home now with The Lord and that gives us great comfort. 73 Karl, you have passed from death unto Life Eternal.
