Julie M. Pesek, nee Jarosz, age 86. Born in Thorp on August 23, 1929 and at rest on May 29, 2016, she touched so many lives with her love for family and friends. Devoted wife of the late George F. Pesek; loving mother of Janet (Omer) Auclair; cherished grandmother of Nicole (Kyle) Baker, Sean Auclair, Christine (Arturo) Hernandez and David Auclair; great-grandmother of Ricardo Hernandez, Sasha Hernandez, Hannah Baker, Leilani Auclair and Caleb Baker; daughter of the late Anton and Ella Jarosz; sister of Louise Skora, the late Stella Mas, Nick Jarosz, Joe Jarosz, Rose Durianski, Peter Jarosz, Ann Dziedzic, Bernice Lakomy and John Jarosz; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, June 2, 2016, 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. We have known Julie for so many years, I (Lois) first met her when Janet was in my Girl Scout Troop, and Julie was always there to lend a helping hand.whenever I needed help, Julie was my “go to” person She always had a wonderful, happy attitude and a smile you couldn’t forget. As the years went on, Ed and I became Ministers of Care at the La Grange Hospital, and Julie was there at the same time. We spent about 25 years doing God’s ministry. We always enjoyed our coffee time together just talking about children and family. We became very good friends over all those years, and Julie you will be missed so much. God love you.
