Jozef S. Rogoz, age 74, of Berwyn. Beloved husband of Corinne Rogoz, nee Zilinsky; loving father of Annmarie (Mark) Vlastnik, Michele (Jerry) Svejda, Barbara (Richard) Kartzmark, Joanne Campbell and Joseph (Regina) Rogoz; devoted grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 1; brother of Wladzia Rogoz-Biel. Visitation Friday, May 11, 2012 from 2 P.M. to time of Funeral Mass 8 P.M. and Visitation Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 9:30 A.M. to time of Prayer Service 10 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Interment Saturday following Prayer Service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Memorials appreciated to the Rogoz Family for a charity of their choice. My heart goes out to the whole family with your DAD’s passing. I wish Corine a smooth transition during this time of memories of days past. All my second cousins, I love you all, your daddy was so witty always talking about that we were from good stock. The Bohemians and Polish alike. He said ” we made beautiful children to grace this world and carry on good deeds”.He was right!

The love of your family and the example of the commitment of 50 years of marriage was truly inspiring. I didn’t have the priviledge of knowing your dad/husband but I saw the effects of a life well lived. A family full of love and care for each other. I pray all the wonderful memories will sustain you through this difficult time.
Corinne: So sorry to have just heard of Jozef’s passing. It has been years since my sister Pat Genovese and I were friends when our children were little. My condolences go out to you and your family. I will let my sister know.

To Mr. Rogoz’ family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and hope in His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, and we can see our loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dear Corinne, Joann, and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for the passing of Jozef. I remember the time I was able to spend with him at Chateau when I was visiting my Dad. My prayers go out to all of you to stay strong during this sad time.
