Josephine Messina, age 91, of Brookfield. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore B. Messina fond mother of Louise (the late John) Munoz, Blase Messina and Jacqueline Messina; dear grandmother of Blase Messina Jr., Anna Maria (Robert) Matson, Christina (Bill) Dimitropoulos and Jacob (Melissa) Munoz; dear great grandmother Dominic, Athan, Sophia, Konstantina, Jack and Sam; sister of Marie Cirino, Carl Ferraro and the late Peter Ferraro; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10 A.M. to time of Mass 11 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Corner of Ogden and Spring, La Grange.
Inurnment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park.

Louise, Bill & Rita: i’m sorry about the loss of your well loved mother. Despite it’s inevitably and her failing health I know the finality still comes with much grief and sorrow. I’ll be forever grateful for the way she welcomed me into your home like family so many times during our teenage years. I could just stop by unannounced and usually find her in the kitchen warmly telling me to “come on in”. Sunday’s were the best when pasta was on the stove all day. I was well fed and she was always insisting that I “have some more”. I usually did. Great lady. I’ll always remember her very fondly.
