James P. “Nutch” Tenuto, age 72, of Princeton formerly of Brookfield.  Vietnam War Army Veteran.  Devoted father of James (Michelle) Tenuto, Jr.  and Nick (Michelle Testen) Tenuto; loving grandfather of Kaitlyn and Ashlyn; brother of Jerrold Tenuto; uncle to Peter and cousin to many.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral, Ltd.  9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Per State Mandate All guests attending any indoor services are required to wear a mask.

Service and Interment Private Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

Memorials appreciated to K9s for Warriors [1], 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida  32081.

I have know Jim for 52 years. We met in
the Army at Basic Training, then AIT, then served in the 1st Air Cav in Vietnam. We came home and remained friends for life. Sharing many great memories with our families. We will never forget you.

Very sorry to learn about cousin Jim. Such a great guy who made many holidays special by sharing them with us. We still have the pewter Star Trek statues he gave us almost 30 years ago. All our thoughts to Nick, Jim, and their families.

Sorry to hear about Jim. I knew him in school and was in my unit in basic training at Ft Campbell, Ky. He was a true Veteran and served his country, He’s in Gods hands now. Rest In Peace my friend.
