James J. Janota, age 77, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Berwyn, Illinois, passed away on June 14, 2014. He was born on August 19, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois. Jim loved NASCAR, the Chicago Bears and was a sports enthusiast. He played softball in the Senior league for many years and was also an avid boater. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 38 years and a son Jason of Venice. He also leaves behind a brother, Rudolph (Donna) of Bartlett, Illinois. Jim was a good guy – he gave me
my first real accounting job as
a cost accountant in 1973 when I
was 20 at Chicago Bridge & Iron.
