Our deepest condolences to you, Marie and to Flo’s sisters and brothers, Flo fought a valiant battle. She was a wonderful person. And will be remembered always in our hearts. God bless her!
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Aunt Flo. She was kind and sincere to me, and I will remember her from the time we met at Danny and Miriam’s wedding in Texas. Love from Cleo and the Matope family.
My deepest sympathy to all of Flo’s family and friends. I vividly remember time spent with Florence and all of the Pertell’s growing up in Riverdale at the home of my Aunt Ruth. She was always kind and sweet. Now she is gracing heaven with her presence.
My heart aches for you, Marie, and for Terri, Donna, Mike and John and all of your extended families.
Three of my favorite memories of Floey from way back when we met in our early twenties are:
!. I had just moved to Chicago and, every evening, I asked her to drive to the loop with me just to see the architecture and the lights. Never mind that we’d just come from there; never mind that she’d seen it a million times. Every night, we went.
2. The first time that we drove to Clare, Michigan at night to see my mom, after we got past the glow of the city, she asked, “Is it going to be this dark all the way there?”
3. And later that night, as if scientifically, she asked, “Do you know how many stars are out on a night like this?”
“No,” I said, ready for a statistic, “how many?”
“A LOT,” she said.
Hats off.
May Marie all who loved Flo find comfort in Flo’s infinite Goodness. May her beautiful spirit live on in our hearts.
Love, love, love
Harry Hitzeman and Marti Beddoe

To all who loved Flo, I didn’t know her well or long but I know she loved and was loved and for that she had a rich and blessed life. My sympathies.
Bekki and Miriam’ aunts wishes to convey sincere condolences for the passing of Florence..Though most of us were not fortunate to meet her we had heard of her love of life and love for others and how she embraced our daughter Miriam. Our humanly plans were to meet her one day but we’re glad she is free from pain and suffering. May you be consoled of the person she was to many people close and far, a true role model to all of us. May she Rest In Peace

Dearest Marie, and all of Flo’s family and loved-ones,
You have my heartfelt condolences. Even though I did not have the joy of meeting Flo in person, I felt a connection through you Marie. Through the sparkle in your eyes and the glow of your presence when you talked about her. May the Eternal Love that you (still) have for each other be.. your companion of comfort; gratitude for the life you shared; and a beacon on your journey.. today and the days ahead. Sending Love to you all.
So very sorry for the loss of Flo, what a shining light for all. My heart aches for Marie, Terri and all the family. I’ve found comfort in the words of a church hymn which says: “Healer of our every ill, light of each tomorrow, give us peace beyond our fear, and hope beyond our sorrow.
I know my Joe has already greeted her in heaven and given her a great big hug.
Love to all.
