Dorothy I. Brown, age 102, of Delavan, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at home in Delavan. She was born in Chicago on November 20, 1915 to John and Alma (Engenfeldt) Strain. Dorothy was united in marriage to Lawrence Brown in Chicago in 1935. He passed away in 1990. Dorothy was a disciplinarian at Queen of Peace High School in Burbank, IL.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Laurel (Vito) Episcopo, of Delavan; five grandchildren, James (Suzanne) Episcopo, Anthony Episcopo, Roseanne Episcopo, Anita (Mickey) McIntyre, and Maria (Tom) Kvitli; four great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; and a sister, Alice.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Christ Episcopal Church, 503 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Chapel Hill Gardens South in Oak Lawn, IL, 2:30 P.M.
