David F. Bauer, age 61 of Westchester.  Beloved son of Anne Pauksta, nee Skibinski and the late Leon Pauksta and Joseph Bauer; loving  brother of Elizabeth (Joseph) Boblie; uncle of Becky (Jeremey Davis) Boblie,  Jojo Boblie, Taylor Dorsey and Brody Dorsey; half brother of Carrie (Eric) Dorsey; stepson of Cathie Bauer; nephew of Ed (Helga) Skibinski, Stefanie (Lawrence) Freund and Rose (the late David) Lypchek; numerous cousins also survive;  Father to his pet cat Baby.

Visitation Friday, March 12, 2021 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, March 13,   2021 from 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.  at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513

Covid Regulations allow for a maximum of 50 people in the funeral home at a time. Face coverings are required, the lounge facilities are closed, outside food or beverages are not allowed at this time. All are asked to pay their respects/condolences to David and his family and be cognitive of others waiting to do the same.

Funeral Saturday, March 13, 2021 9:30 A.M. to Holy Guardian Angels Parish/St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10 A.M.

Due to Covid Regulations a maximum of 100 people will be allowed to attend Mass. Face coverings are required. All wishing to attend Mass with need to Register at: www.hgaparish.org/en/funerals [1]

Additional guests not registered will be allowed to attend if space allows that day. Registration closes Friday, March 12, 2021 at 3 P.M.

I bowled with Dave and we had the best of times. He spoiled us bringing food all the time, had many bbq’s together too, just a over all great guy, you don’t meet sincere people like him anymore. RIP

Our condolences to Dave’s family and friends. We used to hang together during grammar and High school,on the wrestling team and band. I will always have fond memories of Dave, his mom, sister and grandma at his home “Ann Elizabeth’s House of Beauty” on 43rd and Rockwell. I pray God will comfort your hearts and give you peace.
