American FlagDaniel Svoboda, age 77, Master Sergeant Air Force Veteran, of LaGrange Park.  Loving husband of Diane Svoboda, nee Maslanka; devoted father of Chris Svoboda, Dan (Cindi) Svoboda and Jim Svoboda; loving grandfather of D.J., Vivian, and Jake.

Many knew Dan for his many years of service as a Cook County Forest Preserve K-9 Police Officer and a Village of LaGrange Park Auxiliary Police Officer.

Visitation Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street Brookfield, IL 60513.  (Please be aware that there will be a limited Lions Club Service at 7 P.M., there could be an approximate 15 minute delay at that time.)

Due to Covid Regulations a maximum of 10 people are allowed in the facility at a time.  Face Coverings are required, no food or beverages are allowed.  All are asked to pay their respects/condolences and be cognitive of all others waiting to do the same.

Due to Covid Conditions, Funeral Services will be private at Grace Lutheran Church, LaGrange.  Interment private Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
