Dagmar Krivak

Dagmar Krivak (nee Horacek), 79, of Brookfield, died June 8, 2022.

Dagmar was born on July 30, 1942 in Czechoslovakia. She married Antony Krivak in 1969 and together they sought a new life in the United States. They settled in Cicero, Illinois and raised their family. Dagmar worked at Western Electric and Fingerhut Bakery in Cicero before the family moved to Brookfield in 1993. She was proud to work at Tischler Finer Foods in Brookfield for 26 years. Dagmar enjoyed having her family around her, cooking their favorite dishes, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and baking traditional Czech cookies every Christmas. She loved gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and traveling. Among Dagmar’s greatest joys were outings with her granddaughters.

Dagmar was the beloved wife of the late Antony Krivak; the loving mother of Anthony (Linda) Krivak and Daniela (Richard Ciolino) Krivak; dear grandmother of Kaitlin, Alyssa, Ellen, and Sabrina Krivak; and sister of the late Anthony (the late Millie) Horacek.

Visitation Monday, June 13, 2022 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Interment Private.

Memorials appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
