Charles “Pat” Wood, Army Veteran, age 83, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Brookfield. Beloved husband of Joyce Wood nee, Schneider; father of 
Dennis (Diane) Wood, Gary (Connie) Wood and David Dubois; loving grandfather of Mark Wood. Pat was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Uncle of many of nieces and nephews. A Fireman’s Prayer
When I am called to duty, God,

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Pat’s passing. I saw him a few years ago at Aunt Sylvia’s birthday party and he reminded me so much of my dad (Gus). It was great seeing him. Know that he is in peace now. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Love Kathy (Wood)
