Carol A. Kowalczyk, age 69 of Niles formerly of North Riverside. Loving sister of Janet Porcelius and Mark (Diane) Kowalczyk; dear aunt of Elizabeth (Anthony) Holtz, Denise, Matthew, Zachary and Nicole; loving daughter of the late Aloysius L. Kowalczyk and Florence A. Kowalczyk, nee Dudzik, niece and cousin to many. Due to Covid and variants, a Mass will be held in the future. Interment Private Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials in her honor are appreciated to St. Isaac Jogues Parish, 8149 W. Golf Rd., Niles, IL 60714. Carol, as always with life things changed after we grew up and our families were no longer just across an alley and a street from each another. But, even after we grew older it was always a joy when we would talk. You were a wonderful cousin and friend who will be missed and always remembered.
I’m heartsick at the passing of my Godmother and Aunt. I always remember her sitting and playing with me at the top of Grandma’s stairs when I was little. She always gave such kind-hearted words of praise and support. I’ve both smiled and cried thinking back on them. Love you and miss you, Aunt Carol.
Aunt Carol ❤ What a beautiful life to celebrate. Thank you for all the childhood memories you unknowingly gifted us with. One that sticks out and shall never fade is listening to Cinnamon Bear in Grandpa’s car on our way to the museum. We had a blast that day! Thank you for being one hell of an aunt. Watch over us, we miss you terribly. Until we meet again…I love you.
