Bernadine B. Baikie, nee Smarkala, age 89, of La Grange Park. Beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Baikie; fond mother of Arthur “Scot” (Ann) Baikie, John “Jack” (Linda Goodfriend) Baikie and Judith “Judy” Baikie; dear grandmother of Amanda Baikie; sister of the late Genevieve “Jean” (Chester) Pelka, Eleanor (Arthur)Long, Lottie (Irven) Pelka, Cecilia “Ceal” (Joseph) Nemeth and Marion (Charles) Bone; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, July 15, 2016, 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, July 16, 2016, 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Saturday 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10:00 A.M. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
