Wendy, Steve, Jason and (Little) Eric, we are heart broken to hear of Al’s passing. He was such a sweet, funny and generous man. He drove down to Indy, by himself, for (Big) Eric’s high school graduation a few years ago. That was the type of man he was. He treated my kids and me like family. I always felt like we had a Chicago “grandpa” who spoiled and delighted us with all the places and history he shared about his city. He loved showing interesting things to kids and taught them so much along the way. Al loved his family, people, trains and his city. He was a treasure and will be missed by us. Our love to you all. ❤️

We were so sorry to hear of Al’s passing. He will be remembered in our family for his rice pudding that Mom loved, as well as being such a nice person.

Wendy, Steve, Jason and Eric- our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of such a special man. He was always so giving, friendly, kind and happy. He gave his time freely to all he met. He made my boys feel like they were family. He included Alec and Derrik in fun outings with Jason and Eric which created lifelong memories for all. He was a positive role model and who touched the hearts of so many. He’ll remain in our thoughts, memories and prayers. We were lucky to have him in our lives.
