  8. Bill Hayner condolence:

Bill and I were like brothers through HS and after my college and his navy service in the mid 60’s.I taught in Oswego and Bill worked in LaGrange Park and Brookfield. We both worked in the summer for the Village of LaG. Park. My greatest memory is of both of us in the ’46 flatbed truck on the hill on Harding Av. I was driving and we both used our hands and feet to get the truck going when the light turned green. We jumped forward some and the truck stalled. We were in front of a LaG. Park fire truck.
We finally made it up the hill and over LaGrange Rd. You and I were best buddies I’ll never forget you.
