Vernon C. Jantz, age 80, of Western Springs. Born at 3023 S. Kedvale Ave. Chicago, IL. Attended Grace Lutheran Church, Elementary School and Farragut High School. Joined the Naturals S.A.C. at age 16, and has continued to be a faithful member. Played hockey with the club past age 40, loved winter sports, snowmobiling in Michigan where he also rode ATV’s, spending happy days with family and friends. Vern owned and operated Milvern Heating in Berwyn for 51 years, retiring 4 years ago because of his health. Beloved husband of 57 years of Sharlene A. Jantz, nee Svec; loving father of Valerie Pizzi and Russell (Angela) Jantz; grandfather of Paul Pizzi, Daniel Pizzi and Amy Jantz; brother of the late Frieda E.
