He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War, and graduated from U of I Urbana. Ted was the beloved husband of Jeanne Louise Christoff, nee Berg; fond father of Timothy Christoff, dear brother of Blanche (Thomas) Stavretis and the late Rev. Dr. Nicholas Christoff; son of the late Boris Christoff and Sarah Christoff. Visitation Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Lying In State Thursday, February 23, 2017, 9:30 A.M. to Time of Service 10 A.M. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 500 E. 31st Street, LaGrange Park, IL 60526. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Theodore loved the Lord and was an active member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, La Grange Park where he served as Elder and Bible Study Teacher.
