[1]Steven N. “Guido” Smrt, age 71 of Brookfield. Vietnam Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of Suzanne K. “Kim” Smrt, nee Frischkorn; loving father of Joshua (Diana) Smrt, Ashley (Brian) Long, Zachary (Carrie) Smrt, Molly (Derek) Siegel and Julia (Nikolai) Espinosa; papa of Conlin Long, Mack Long, Boden Long, Jackson Smrt, Anya Smrt, Finnian Long, James Smrt and Sasha Smrt; brother of Michael Smrt, Cindy (Bernie) Frank and the late Richard Smrt; and great friend to many. His laugh was contagious as well as his desire to make others smile. The local coffee shops will soon see a decrease in profits with him gone. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. I have fond memories growing up of him getting everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. He always always had a smile on his face. His resilience in the face of adversity was admired by all. He will surely be missed. Prayers to the entire Smrt family and all who loved him.

We are sadden by the passing of Steve. He was alway fun to be around and his laugh and smile was always great. He was so much fun to be with. Our hearts go out to his family and all that knew him. God Bless. And our prayers will be with you at this time. Love the Ligeikis family.
I enjoyed talking with him at Mac’s on 31st when he came to coffee.
