Messages of Condolence

  1. Dick & Chris borchard condolence:

Phyllis was the very, very best friend & neighbor anyone could ever have. She was always there for you no matter what. Our hearts are broken. She will truly be missed but never forgotten.

    Love,
    Dick & Chris Borchard

  2. Tiny's oldest son, Chuck condolence:

My thanks to Jim Hendershott for telling me of Phyllis’s passing. I personally regret not being physically able to attend the services. Phyllis and Ernie were two of the kindest, most understanding people I ever knew. Fond memories came flooding back to me when I was informed. Phyllis and Ernie were made for each other, and are now together again. The world is now a lesser place without her brillance to give all of us her light and love.

  3. Anne (Bennett) Chadwick and John Chadwick and our Pups Charlie and Enna condolence:

We are sorry to hear about the passing of Phyllis. Phyllis was the nicest person we ever met and only had kind words for my husband’s parents Marie and Eugene (Gene) Chadwick.

I personally loved talking over our fences to each other when either of us was walking by the other’s home with our pups. We always had a good laugh. I will never forget how we both shared a cry about the loss of life at the Florida night club last year. I will never forget that special moment.

Phyllis had the biggest heart and was able to put things in perspective for you. It made you feel reassured after talking with her. She was great about giving gardening tips.

I am going to miss her waving hello to me as I am running down 29th Street by her house on my daily runs.

We truly lost the most loving neighbor. I am sure she is having the greatest time seeing and being reunited with Jesus and her late husband Ernst.

We love and miss you Phyllis! Give a good word to Jesus for John and I (we likely need it) and say hello to our parents for us.

    Love always,

Anne and John Chadwick and the Pups Charlie and Enna

  4. Renee F. Scott-Burisek condolence:

Yes, Phyllis was my boss in 1980 in Domestic Customer Service at Electro-Motive Division, GMC for a time. We were on the General Motors Women’s Club Board together and by the time I retired, she and other friends had quit coming to the Golden GM’s of the Chicago Area, Retirement group. Phyllis had moved on to only being with family, friends, and neighbors. Phyllis was a sweet person and you felt so comfortable to just be around her.
We extend our condolences on behalf of our EMD-GMC family and our Golden GM Retirement Group to her family.
Renee Scott-Burisek and husband Ron Burisek, President of the Golden GM’s
Chicago Area Retirement Group, currently wintering in Arizona.
With the help of Karen Meeker, this notice has been sent to all our retirement members. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

  5. Dina DeAngelis condolence:

I was going through my old phone book and cam e across her name. I googled her and saw she passed away. She was a wonderful lady who was very kind to me when I worked with her years ago. What a gem. RIP my friend
