Marcella J. Walker, nee Murphy, age 84 of Westchester. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Walker of 56 years; loving mother of Johanna Walker of Westchester, IL., Robert (Anne) Walker, Sr. of Golf, IL., Amanda Walker of Westchester, IL. and Paul (Inez) Walker of Indian Head Park, IL.; devoted grandmother of Christopher (Margaret) McMurtagh, Angela McMurtagh, Robert Walker, Jr., Caroline Walker, Jack Walker, Elizabeth Walker, Sophia Walker, Shane Walker, Vincent Mangiameli, Sophia Mangiameli and Frank Mangiameli; great grandmother of Walker McMurtagh, Maggie McMurtagh and Ansley McMurtagh; dear sister of the late Thomas (the late Geri) Murphy; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Marcella graduated from St. Patrick’s Grade School in Janesville, WI and Janesville High School class of 1950. She also attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and was the class 1953. She loved her family, friends, Lake Ripley Cottage, pets Ripley and OK. Her favorite past times included painting, golfing, and celebrating the Fourth of July. Lying In State Monday, October 24, 2016, 10 A.M. to Time of Mass 11 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 North Spring Ave., La Grange, IL 60525. Interment Tuesday, October 25, 2016, 11 A.M. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1827 North Washington St, Janesville, WI 53548.
