Josephine A. Palunas, nee Cota, age 86, of La Grange Park. Beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Palunas; loving mother of Nancy J. Palunas, Janice M. Palunas and the late Patricia J. (Thomas) Pierce; sister of Stanley (Rosemary) Cota, Theresa (Robert) Gecas and Marlene (Richard) Grenier; aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews; loving cousin to Fran (the late Bill) Molloy, the late Andy Cota and Tony (Helen) Cota.     I’m very sorry to hear of Jo’s passing. Her, Gene and the entire Palunas family became great friends of mine back in 1967 when I began going to Blackhawk games at the Stadium. Traveling to the games from Michigan, I will always remember the warm hospitality extended to me by her and Gene on so many occasions. Jo was very strong, battling much adversity in her life. I will never forget you dear lady!
