Retired from Commonwealth Edison and as a Volunteer Fireman for the Village of Brookfield. 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Beloved husband of the late Mary L. Wainer, nee Ardente; dear father of James G. (Cynthia) Wainer, Jr.; fond grandfather of Claudia, Clayton and Catherine; son of the late George and Rose Wainer, brother of Pete (Joan), Don (Joan) and George (Joyce). Visitation Sunday, November 27, 2016, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday, November 28, 2016, 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Dear Jim and Family,
Our sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Your father Jim contributed so much to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church as well as Knights of Columbus Council 9964. Any time help was requested he was always the first one there and among the last to leave. In addition he was a very dear friend. May God bless you and your family with love and peace.

Our parents also asked us to convey their condolences, as does Frida (met your parents in Las Vegas and her husband Roger passed away 2 weeks ago). Also my sister met your father and went balooning with him over Temecula county. He will be missed. Remember him kindly.
