Gregory S. Wennerstrom, age 47, of La Grange Park, IL. Beloved husband of Tracy (nee Parpet); loving father of Madelyn and Steven; dear son of Russell “Spike” and Shirley (nee Nehls); dear brother of Russell (Jenny) and Allen (Mary); dear uncle of Alex and Jake and many other nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday March 6, 2016, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday March 7, 2016, 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield, IL. 60513. Tracy and family….we love you and our prayers all go to you in this time. We are so sorry to hear of this tremendous loss. We have no words to make it feel any better, just know that we are here for your family anytime you need anything.

Although, we can’t wrap our heads around why things happen as they do – know that he is no longer suffering and cherish all the beautiful memories you made together.
I can not say enough sorrys’…Greg you clearly made a lasting impression on so many. You are someone I will Never forget. Your beautiful children, wife, and family have a guardian Angel now. I wish the families as much comfort, peace, and healing as possible. Peace to you Greg…love you always. ♡♡♡

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss.

I used to work with Al and met Greg at Russ’ bachelor party MANY years ago.

To the Wennerstrom family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and hope in His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, and we can see our loved ones again.
