Elli and I had a close friendship for many years. There were so many funny conversations together at her kitchen table. We helped at many functions with the Women’s Club. Elli was a very giving person. She made the most delicious apple slices. It was a joy to know Joanne, Kathy, Barbara and David. I have fond memories to remember of my dear friend Elli. My heart is full of sadness.

Dave, I remember meeting your parents when they came to Cleveland for your Mass/installation/dinner. How proud they were and how obviously close your whole family was. I prayed for all of you at our Mass this morning knowing the funeral would begin shortly and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
