Our deepest sympathy. We are so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. We had lots of fun with him in the choir at SOTH. Now he is singing with Jim, Vicki and Carlyle in God’s choir. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish we could make it to the wake or funeral. Lots of love to you all.

  9. Cindy Nicholson Eggert condolence:

A lot great memories with the Verdon family. Baseball games at Elhert Park, Apple Canyan Lake and my 1 st job at Brown’s Fried Chicken. Sorry for the loss of Mr. Verdon.

  10. Karen Kallem condolence:

Dave taught us lots of things. The value of being on time, what responsibility means, how to count change, how to get 8 pieces of chicken into that little box…..The greatest lesson that he taught me – and I’m sure many will agree – was about family. We who worked at Brown’s felt as if we were part of a family because of Dave. So many memories. So much of my growing up involved Dave and the Verdons. My thoughts, my prayers and my heart are with you.

  11. Linda & Lou Kusnierz of Apple Canyon Lake condolence:

Lois, we are very sorry for you and your families loss. Dave was a good person and will be missed by many. Will differently be missed in both the choirs at ACL and Shepherd in the Hills. May you find peace with your faith in God. Thoughts and Prayers are with during this sad time.

  12. Jeanne larocca condolence:

I only met Dave recently over the past few years through his grandson, Brian. Dave opened his house up to us and entertained us with his great stories and hospitality. My condolences to his wife and family. I’m glad I was able to know him.
