You touched my life in a very deep and spiritual way. I owe you so much not only for what you taught me about music and rhythm and how you absolutely transformed and elevated any music that we played together but even more so because you always had my back no matter what. You pushed me both as a musician and a person and i honestly feel like a better person for having had the honor of knowing you. You have a truly gentle and yet tortured soul that was the fuel for all of your creations by using your gift to take whatever life handed you and turn it into something beautiful. To call you an amazing drummer would be an understatement for your musical ear and talents went beyond the drums with all of the other songs you wrote and co-wrote. I miss you more than these simple words could hope to express. Belle- I can only imagine how you feel right now but know that all of us love you. I feel like I have a huge weight in my chest. He was so talented, everyone will say he was a great drummer which he was and that was his true passion. He could tile a floor or a bathroom and make it look amazing. He was so funny he could imitate any voice, he would always do Billy Bob Thornton from Sling Blade absolutely hilarious. I will miss his laugh he had one of those belly laughs. I will miss him at my parents house (Aunt Retta and Uncle Joe) for all of the holidays telling us jokes and doing imitations. I will miss hearing him getting heated talking about the Nascar race with my Dad,or getting excited if his guy Mark Martin won. I could go on forever writing about Brian. I will miss him and things won't ever be the same but I made sure that every time I talked to him or saw him that I told him that I loved him. To my Aunt Belle, my Aunt, my friend my Angel I love you more everyday and I know you will still be with us on the holidays, cause thats where Brian will be in spirit is at his Aunt Retta and Uncle Joe's house.
